Candela CO2RE Laser is designed from the inside out. From a light peel to deep fractional resurfacing, full thickness resurfacing, incision and excision of the skin, treatment with the CO2RE laser can be adapted to the individual patient’s needs. The CO2RE system features six operating modes: four for ablative treatment, one surgical mode for removing growths, and a traditional mode for skin resurfacing. Ablation is a method of vaporizing substances within skin cells using a laser pulse. During laser ablation, a focused beam of light targets a specific area of the body at a controlled depth, causing the fluid within the cells to vaporize. During the recovery process, the body actively works to repair the damaged skin, stimulating cell growth and producing a rapid rejuvenating effect.
